Welcome to The Happy Holidays Fundraiser 2022
This program has been growing year on year. Every family and every child deserves a Happy Holiday. This year, more than ever, we are working to ensure that children and adults affected by poverty are able to enjoy the holiday season. And we can’t do it without your help! Your donations allow us to buy gift cards that can be used for food and gifts for those who would otherwise go without. As the holidays are upon us, funds collected from now until the end of December will be rolled over into support for people in 2023.
Our Happy Holiday program links you (or your family, business, or even just a group of like minded friends or philanthropists) with a folks and families in need. Veith House provided holiday support to over 200 low-income families last year, and over 800 children and adults overall.
Why Gift Cards?
While it is nice to shop for others, we think
the best gift of all is giving folks the ability to go out and shop
for their family - a gift so nice it gives twice! Also, gift cards
are safe in this extended pandemic, and much easier to store and
share out than gifts for over 200 families. Veith House has a small
team and we want to be as efficient as possible in sharing out the
holiday cheer. We are also happy to receive gift cards purchased by
donors.
