The Shelter Nova Scotia Holiday Wish List provides funding for the areas of most need supporting our clients, residents and guests.
Through our seven facilities -- six overnight facilities and our Hub Community Drop-in Centre -- Shelter Nova Scotia provides a safe place to stay for up to 106 people in need every day of the year and support services to over 1,500 individuals and families annually.
The process is simple:
- Purchase an item - or two, or 10. Multiple donations can be made easily by selecting the quantity you wish to give.
- We are notified and then use the money to make the purchase.
- The people we serve in our facilities and throughout the community get what they need - during the Holiday season and all year round.

Shelter Nova Scotia donations are wonderful as gifts for friends, family, teacher presents, or business contacts. The automated email confirmation of your donation includes a printable postcard to let the person know that their gift is helping others.

Donations here go towards the purchase of gift cards that can be redeemed for a cup of coffee or a small treat, toward groceries, personal care items and more. The independence these gift cards provide is invaluable.
