YOUTH EMPOWER YOUTH
The purpose of this youth-led project is to examine current programming and identify processes, protocols or responses which will support the “most vulnerable youth” in our community. Further, it will evaluate how all youth interventions operate in the neighbourhood and look to address the isolation of both vulnerable youth and youth workers in the neighbourhood.
THIS CAMPAIGN IS IN SUPPORT OF VULNERABLE YOUTH FROM TORONTO DISTRICT CATHOLIC SCHOOL BOARD IN REGENT PARK. Many of these students often cannot afford basic hygiene items that allow for dignity, confidence and participation in school and around their peers. Items like deodorant, clean underwear, body wash, dental hygiene and menstrual products are many times out of reach for these students and YOU CAN HELP!
