The Village Hive will be hosting a Kit Packing Event on February 5th 2024 from 4-6 pm to support the Ronald McDonald House Toronto, a charity that provides a warm and welcoming home for families with children undergoing medical treatment in nearby Toronto hospitals. From comfortable accommodations to meals, laundry, and compassionate care, they help families focus on what truly matters—being there for their child during a difficult time.
Our Owner/Founder, Charlotte Kirby, experienced firsthand the incredible impact of Ronald McDonald House when her nephew and his family were offered a place to stay—free of charge—while he received treatment at SickKids in the Spring/Summer.
We will be assembling care kits filled with essential items for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. Your time and generosity can provide comfort to those in need during a challenging time.
If you are not able to come and kit pack, consider granting a wish by donating one of Ronald McDonald House Toronto’s most urgent needed supplies. Your support will go directly toward easing the burden of families who are experiencing a difficult time.

Kit Packing Location: The Village Hive Duncan Mill - 150 Duncan Mill Road, Unit 2, North York. Free parking on site. As a thank you to volunteers, pizza and beverages will be supplied.

The basic hygiene kit provides an individual with hygiene essentials like; shampoo, conditioner, body wash, tooth brush, toothpaste, pocket tissue, nail clippers, razor, shave cream + more.
The deluxe hygiene kit includes all the essentials of a hygiene kit plus more to show them extra care, includes; a pair of adult socks, face cloth, eye sleep mask, underwear (men's or women's) and hair brush plus all the basic items.
