As part of their commitment to spreading joy and care, The Creative Buds is rallying their community to create and fill shoeboxes with essential items & thoughtful gifts. These shoeboxes will not only bring smiles to faces but also provide much-needed support to the individuals and families supported by Yellow Brick House.
Join The Creative Buds in making this holiday season a little brighter by contributing to the Shoebox Project and showing that small acts of kindness can make a big difference in the lives of those in need. Our wishlist will run from September 05 to December 25, 2023.

Our mission is to provide compassionate and effective assistance to people who live in shelters and face multiple challenges. We aim to improve their quality of life by offering them access to essential services, resources and opportunities.
Our Goal:
Our goal is to provide women, who are in shelters, with essential items that they will need for everyday care as well as additional items that will make them feel special and comfy during the holiday season. A small contribution from your end will have life-altering impact on our friends in shelters!

Founded in 2020, The Creative Buds is a federally registered Not-for-Profit social service organization that is committed to provide wrap-around support in helping people who live in shelters and have complex needs. The Creative Buds provides them with essential services, resources and opportunities to enhance their well-being, valuing their dignity, respect and a hope for a better future.

Yellow Brick House provides life-saving services and prevention programs to meet the diverse needs of individuals, families, and communities impacted by violence. Yellow Brick House is committed to challenging and eradicating the beliefs, values, systems and structures which support and perpetuate sexism and violence against women.
With the support of our amazing community members like you, our dedicated staff provide life-saving services for women and children escaping domestic violence in York Region.
