Going back to school can be a really exciting time for kids, but if you don’t have the right supplies to get you started, it can be stressful. We want to ensure every student has the opportunity start the school year off right and have the best chance for success.
Therefore, we will be hosting a community event August 12, 2023 in our church parking lot where we will have a BBQ and give out back packs to children who attend from our community.
We would like to raise funds for 100 backpacks filled with basic school supplies, such as calculators, pens, pencils, notebooks, and other items that students may need to help make this event a success, as well as creating awareness of our church, thus demonstrating in a tangible manner that we love and care for our community.
