Our mission:

The Purse Project York Region promotes kindness and solidarity by providing an annual opportunity for many to make a positive impact on the lives of others and offer a sense of dignity, care, and support during challenging times. To date, we have donated over 5,000 purses and bags filled with amenities to over 25 non-profit organizations and community groups in need.

Additional information:

The Purse Project York Region proudly collects and distributes purses and bags filled with amenities to groups in need annually just before Mother’s Day. You can purchase one kit or multiple and you will receive a tax receipt for the total amount per organization that you select. The items are conveniently shipped directly to the Purse Project York Region storage facility, to be distributed during our May 2025 distribution.
